Manhattan (Laserdisc)
For me, this is the first thing i think of when I hear the name Woody Allen. This tribute to a city, to a moment, to a sensation, to the struggle of love, happiness and meaning of life, is very much still relevant here many decades later. How ever, no need to watch it on laserdisc. Neither soundtrack or picture side benefit from this, even if its a fun format. The storyline is peculiar, knowing how his private life went after 1979, and today it will probably seems strange the 42 year old keeps having sex with a 17 old teenager, while having issues with most other things in his life.
