Instinct (VHS)

 

Since I am really old I have actually seen this movie in the cinema. But I only recalled the storyline in fragments, plus the ending, however, everyone would be able to guess that from the trailer. So, it´s not a big suspense movie, nor a great movie, but it does hold one great thing. Every scene with Anthony Hopkins and Cuba Gooding Jr. acting together is pure gold. Anthony makes Cuba better, and by doing so Hopkins get even more acting space for him to fill. The quality is surprisingly good for a VHS, and the albeit the soundtrack should have been in Dolby Surround it seems more like a standard stereo mix blasted to every speaker.
